My name is Benjamin Gregory, owner of Power Pro Washing, and over the years I’ve learned something important about commercial pressure washing:
The bigger and more complicated the project gets, the more the details matter.
Commercial exterior cleaning isn’t simply pulling up with a pressure washer and spraying water at a building.
When you’re cleaning a large commercial facility, working from a boom lift high above the ground, restoring a historic property, removing heavy grease from a restaurant or cleaning around sensitive equipment, you have to understand the surface, the contamination, the chemistry and the equipment required to do the job correctly.
That’s exactly what we’ve built Power Pro Washing around.
We’re a locally owned exterior-cleaning company serving Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati, and we’ve spent years developing the equipment, experience and cleaning processes necessary to take on projects that go far beyond ordinary pressure washing.
That’s why our slogan is:
The Science of Clean.
It isn’t just marketing.
It’s how we approach the work.
From Houses and Driveways to Major Commercial Projects
Power Pro Washing didn’t become a large-scale commercial exterior-cleaning company overnight.
We built our reputation one property and one customer at a time.
Over the years, that experience has taken our crew from residential properties throughout Northern Kentucky to commercial buildings, restaurants, grocery stores, municipal facilities, industrial plants, parking structures, new-construction projects, historic properties and some extremely unusual specialty-cleaning projects.
Today, we’re equipped to handle both routine commercial maintenance and challenging projects requiring specialized equipment, access and cleaning processes.
And despite the scale of some of the projects we now complete, we’re still a locally owned company.
That’s something I’m extremely proud of.

What Makes Commercial Pressure Washing Different?
One of the biggest misconceptions about our industry is that cleaning power comes from pressure alone.
It doesn’t.
I’ve spent years learning the chemistry behind exterior cleaning.
Depending on what we’re cleaning, the process can involve professional cleaning agents, degreasers, algaecides, inhibitors, hot water, controlled pressure, soft washing and specialized restoration products.
The objective isn’t to use the highest pressure possible.
The objective is to determine what caused the contamination and then use the appropriate process to remove it without unnecessarily damaging the surface.
That’s especially important on commercial properties.
A facility can contain concrete, glass, painted surfaces, brick, limestone, metal, roofing materials and other substrates—all on the same property.
There isn’t one pressure setting or one chemical that should be used for everything.
That’s the science behind the clean.
Commercial Building Washing in Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky
We’ve cleaned commercial buildings where ordinary ground-level equipment simply wasn’t enough.
High-access commercial exterior cleaning can require boom lifts, fall protection, specialized hose setups and considerable planning before the cleaning even begins.
The photograph below is a great example.

For large commercial properties, we evaluate more than square footage.
We look at building height, surface materials, access points, surrounding landscaping, pedestrian and vehicle traffic, water availability, runoff considerations and the type of contamination we’re trying to remove.
That allows us to develop a cleaning plan specifically for the facility.
Cleaning Places You Don’t See Every Day
Some of my favorite Power Pro Washing projects have been the ones where I stop for a second and think:
I can’t believe spraying water has taken us here.
One example is our work cleaning amusement-park structures.
Cleaning a roller coaster is obviously very different from cleaning the side of an office building.
Access becomes a major consideration. Equipment placement matters. Safety matters. And you need the ability to get cleaning equipment where the work actually needs to happen.
These are the kinds of projects that have pushed us to continually improve our capabilities.

Historic Building & Masonry Cleaning
Some commercial projects require power.
Others require restraint.
Historic properties are a perfect example.
We’ve had the opportunity to work on significant historic structures where preserving the surface is every bit as important as cleaning it.
Different masonry materials react differently to pressure and cleaning solutions.
That’s why identifying the substrate and staining before beginning work is so important.

Commercial Concrete Cleaning
Commercial concrete is another major part of what we do.
But again, pressure isn’t always the answer.
Commercial sidewalks, entrances, loading areas, dumpster pads, drive-thrus and other high-traffic surfaces can contain:
Grease, oil, food residue, gum, algae, organic staining, dirt and years of traffic buildup.
Some of these contaminants require chemistry to break their bond with the surface before pressure washing becomes effective.
For heavy commercial cleaning, we can incorporate professional degreasers, appropriate cleaning agents and hot-water equipment depending on the project.
This is especially important with restaurant pressure washing and recurring commercial concrete cleaning, where grease and food-related contamination can be substantially different from ordinary dirt.
Restaurant Pressure Washing & Recurring Maintenance
We’ve also learned that some commercial properties shouldn’t wait until they look terrible to be cleaned.
Restaurants are a great example.
Drive-thrus, entrances, dumpster areas, sidewalks and back-of-house concrete can accumulate contamination quickly.
Instead of repeatedly allowing those areas to become heavily soiled and then performing another major restoration, Power Pro Washing can establish recurring commercial pressure washing programs.
Depending on the facility, that could mean weekly, monthly, quarterly or another schedule.
We’ve built recurring commercial relationships because consistency is valuable to property owners and facility managers.
They know who’s coming.
We know the property.
And we already understand what it takes to maintain it.
Industrial Pressure Washing & Specialty Facility Cleaning
Industrial cleaning takes the same principle to another level.
We’ve taken on challenging high-access projects where cleaning had to occur around sensitive facility equipment and where normal access methods weren’t practical.
Those environments require significantly more planning than ordinary exterior pressure washing.
Protecting equipment, controlling the cleaning process, understanding chemicals, planning access and coordinating with the facility all become part of the job.
That’s an area where our years of experience have become extremely valuable.
We’re comfortable looking at a project that’s unusual.
In fact, those are often the projects we enjoy the most.
Commercial Pressure Washing Isn’t Always a 9-to-5 Job
Another lesson we’ve learned from commercial work is that our schedule sometimes needs to work around our customer’s schedule.
A busy retail store or restaurant doesn’t necessarily want exterior cleaning occurring during peak customer traffic.
Commercial facilities may also have loading schedules, employee shifts, pedestrian traffic or other operational considerations.
When possible, we work with our commercial customers to determine a cleaning schedule that minimizes disruption.
That can mean early mornings, evenings or other off-peak periods depending on the project.
Commercial cleaning is ultimately about solving a problem for the customer—not creating another one.
Serving Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky & Beyond
Power Pro Washing is based in Northern Kentucky and provides commercial pressure washing and exterior-cleaning services throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
Our core service area includes communities such as Union, Florence, Burlington, Hebron, Independence, Erlanger, Fort Mitchell and surrounding Northern Kentucky communities, as well as Cincinnati and surrounding Southwest Ohio communities.
For the right commercial and industrial projects, our capabilities can extend beyond our immediate local service area.
We don’t want to be the company that claims we can do everything.
We want to be the company people call when they need an exterior-cleaning contractor who will figure out what the project actually requires.
Why Property & Facility Managers Choose Power Pro Washing
- Equipment matters.
- Chemistry matters.
- Experience matters.
- But reputation matters too.
We’ve spent years building Power Pro Washing and earning the trust of customers throughout Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati.
I’m proud of the equipment we’ve accumulated and the projects we’ve completed, but I’m even more proud of the reputation behind the Power Pro name.
When our trucks arrive at a property, they’re carrying more than pressure washers.
They’re carrying the reputation we’ve spent years building.
